Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled SDET / QA Automation Engineer to design and develop scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Java, and Cucumber for enterprise healthcare applications. You will drive quality across functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Playwright/Selenium automation experience.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Cucumber.
• Strong functional testing expertise.
• Experience with regression testing.
• Ability to design and execute test cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright/Selenium with Java for web application testing.
• Implement functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across multiple applications and platforms.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Create reusable automation frameworks, test data management strategies, and testing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure complete test coverage.
• Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and risk assessments to improve product quality and delivery timelines.
• Monitor and improve automation coverage, efficiency, and quality metrics.
