Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation in the United States is seeking an experienced SDET / QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Java, and Cucumber for enterprise healthcare applications.

You will collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and DevOps to enable continuous testing in CI/CD and deliver high-quality releases in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks.
• Ability to drive quality across functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright/Selenium with Java for web application testing.
• Hands on experience in Cucumber.
• Design and implement functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing solutions across multiple applications and platforms.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to enable continuous testing and faster releases.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Create and maintain reusable automation frameworks, test data management strategies, and testing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure complete test coverage.
• Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and risk assessments to improve overall product quality and delivery timelines.
• Monitor and improve automation coverage, testing efficiency, and quality metrics while driving continuous process improvements.
