Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET I) for a remote, full-time role. You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, collaborate with engineers to resolve defects, and participate in the full software development lifecycle.

You will review specifications, run tests (manual and automated), document results, and perform regression testing. A strong QA mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.
• Zero (0) plus years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or similar role.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD).
• Experience with CI/CD processes and mobile, API, and database testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains automated test scripts using established frameworks and tools.
• Collaborates with software developers to identify and resolve defects and issues.
• Participates in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
• Reviews system specifications to ensure testability and alignment with requirements.
• Executes test cases (manual or automated) and analyzes results.
• Identifies, records, and tracks bugs and defects in the software.
• Liasses with internal teams to identify system requirements.
• Performs thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
