Job summary

Interview Kickstart is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to automate testing for our web (Next.js) and API (Python/Django) platforms using Playwright in Typescript. You will design scalable frameworks, drive AI-first QA, and expand automation across UI and API layers while partnering with developers and product teams.

Qualifications

• 2.5+ years in automation testing with an engineering mindset.
• Experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on API and UI testing experience.
• Ability to design reusable test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reusable automation frameworks for UI, API, performance, and security.
• Drive AI-first testing strategy by integrating AI in QA.
• Scale Playwright automation across web apps (Python/Django + NextJS).
• Perform manual testing when needed but focus on automation.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and collaborate with teams.
