LearnWorlds is hiring an experienced Software Engineer in Test to own automation in our remote-first EdTech SaaS. You will build and maintain reliable Playwright tests in TypeScript, guide automation decisions, and direct AI agents to plan, generate, and debug tests.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional QA/testing with strong automation ownership.
• Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript practices.
• Hands-on with Playwright and Page Object Model (POM) design.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Able to work across API, UI, and cross-browser testing.

Responsibilities

• Own your product area and influence planning before code exists.
• Choose the right test layer: API, UI, or E2E as appropriate.
• Build and evolve the test framework with page objects and fixtures.
• Collaborate across Product and Engineering to improve testability.
• Design efficient, deterministic test scenarios and strategies.
• Own CI/E2E, diagnose flakiness, and ensure reliable runs.
• Report coverage and risk, distinguishing automation from manual testing.
• Direct AI agents to plan, generate, and maintain tests.
