Job summary

AssureSoft is seeking a QA automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright and TypeScript for our global clients.

You'll collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product owners to define strategies, perform manual testing when needed, and improve our testing framework and CI/CD pipeline.

Advanced English required; remote role; 3+ years of automation, 2+ years with Playwright; growth opportunities through certifications and training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA automation experience.
• 2+ years of Playwright, including Page Object Model, environment management, and parallel execution.
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as playwright-bdd, Cucumber, or equivalents.
• Understanding of QA automation best practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Jenkins).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced English; B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Implement and maintain readable, maintainable BDD test scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and Product Owners to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and validation steps.
• Perform manual testing and lead exploratory sessions to identify complex edge cases and UX issues.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce automation best practices.
• Analyze test results, report and track defects, and verify fixes.
• Improve the testing framework and its CI/CD integration.
• Lead exploratory testing sessions to uncover complex edge cases and UX issues beyond automated scripts.
