Job summary

LearnWorlds, a remote-first EdTech SaaS, seeks an experienced SDET to own automation for assigned product areas. You will build reliable Playwright and TypeScript tests using the Page Object Model, and guide AI Agents to plan, generate, debug and maintain automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional QA/Software Testing with automation ownership.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Page Object Model (POM) design.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Excellent analytical thinking to produce and document test scenarios and criteria.
• Comfort with API, UI, cross‑browser, and risk attribution.
• Excellent debugging, problem‑solving, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication, product focus, and teamwork in a flat organization.
• Ability to guide AI agents with judgment and review generated tests.

Responsibilities

• Own your product area from planning; shape scope, data, and environments early.
• Determine appropriate test layers (API, UI, E2E, smoke) to detect bugs.
• Build and evolve the framework with page objects, flows, and typed clients.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure testability and meaningful automation.
• Design efficient and deterministic test scenarios and strategy plans.
• Own CI/CD end-to-end testing; fix flakiness at root cause.
• Report coverage and risk; distinguish automation defects from environment issues.
• Direct AI Agents to plan, generate, debug, and maintain tests.
• Develop reusable AI tooling patterns and ensure tests are correct by default.
