Job summary

Vonage, a global cloud communications leader, seeks a dynamic Scrum Master to join our Lean Agile Center of Excellence. You’ll help drive the Agile transformation across the organization, focusing on introducing a strong Agile culture and supporting Release Train Engineers with SAFe events.

The role emphasizes mentoring, data-driven improvement, and fostering collaboration in a multicultural, international team. Remote-friendly with a focus on SAFe practices.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster teamwork and collaboration.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with ability to track progress.
• Resilience and problem-solving mindset for overcoming obstacles.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and tools.
• Ability to inspect and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Plus: experience in project management, software development, or Agile; familiarity with SAFe and Atlassian suite.

Responsibilities

• Drive Agile transformation across Vonage with the LACE team.
• Introduce a strong Agile culture within one or more teams and assist Release Train Engineers with SAFe events.
• Train, mentor, and support teams to adopt Agile values and practices.
• Use data-driven approaches to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Encourage open communication and active participation within and between teams.
• Identify and address impediments hindering progress or productivity.
• Collaborate to find solutions and remove obstacles.
• Foster effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure information flows smoothly and aligns with team goals and priorities.
• Support planning for SAFe events such as PI planning.
