Job summary

Pearson is seeking remote scorers to evaluate responses for Florida teacher candidates. You will internalize scoring standards, engage with other scorers, and meet strict quality and productivity targets.

The role starts in fall 2026 and offers remote work with a fixed weekday schedule. Eligible candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and teaching credentials in the subject area, or equivalent college teaching experience with five years in the same subject.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to work with a computer.
• Ability to sit for extended periods during scoring.
• Ability to maintain a confidential work environment.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Florida teacher candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in discussions with other scorers.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements and pass a qualifying test before scoring.
• Starting rate of $17.50 per hour.
• Score remotely during assigned shifts.
