Qualifications

• Hold an educator certification and have teaching experience within the last three years.
• Or be an instructor in higher education who taught classes in the last three years.
• Or have continuing experience as a scorer after meeting one of the above qualifications; National Board-Certified Educator accepted.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate artifacts submitted by teacher candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in consensus scoring discussions.
• Recognize and discuss bias types (implicit, cultural, leniency, central tendency, halo) and apply bias-reduction strategies.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements for the scoring program; pass qualifying test before scoring.
• Work remotely on an hourly basis.
