Job summary

Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) seeks a Sales Tech Product Consultant to collaborate with Sales worldwide, delivering pre- and post-sale technical training and product consulting. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in natural science; advanced degree preferred.
Ability to articulate value propositions for science-related solutions.
Experience with SciFinder and STN; drug discovery experience a plus.
Fluent in English and in the language of supporting customers.
Strong presentation skills and ability to address product content questions.
Able to quickly understand new subject areas and develop search strategies.
Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Provide technical product demonstrations and training for customers and internal staff.
Design customized training materials showing search techniques and product features.
Deliver technical instructions for pre- and post-sale support, workshops, user meetings, conferences, and remote or in-person meetings.
Assess customer information needs and map to products with sales.
Gather customer feedback for product development and sales.
