Knowesis Inc. is hiring a Scientific Review Manager to oversee peer review activities for assigned programs.

The role is remote with occasional travel and requires coordinating with Government Program Managers and stakeholders to establish milestones, schedules, and review strategies. You will mentor Scientific Review Officers, ensure consistent application of review criteria, confidentiality, and conflict-of-interest policies, and monitor performance across panels.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biomedical, clinical, or related field; doctoral preferred.
• Extensive experience in scientific peer review or program management.
• Experience leading scientific professionals and managing complex review activities.
• Knowledge of review criteria, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, scoring, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Manage scientific peer review activities for assigned programs.
• Serve as scientific review contact for Government Program Managers.
• Support IPT meetings and establish milestones, requirements, schedules, and review strategies.
• Assign, oversee, mentor, and support SROs responsible for peer review panels.
• Oversee panel planning, reviewer assignments, readiness, and execution.
• Ensure adherence to government-approved review criteria and confidentiality.
• Monitor schedules, workload, quality, risks, and performance.
• Provide guidance and resolve/escalate issues.
