Job summary

Knowesis is seeking a Scientific Reviewer Sourcing Specialist to recruit qualified biomedical experts for peer review. The role builds and maintains reviewer pipelines across biomedical disciplines and ensures alignment with program requirements.

The position requires a 4-year degree in a biomedical field and experience in scientific recruitment, with remote work and occasional travel. Public Trust clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a biomedical, life science, health science, clinical, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Professional experience in scientific recruiting, biomedical research, research administration, peer review, or related field.
• Sufficient scientific knowledge to understand biomedical disciplines and credentials.
• Demonstrated sourcing skills using scientific literature, databases, and networks.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to conduct professional outreach.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple searches and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source prospective scientific, clinical, and technical reviewers aligned to peer review requirements.
• Use AI-assisted expertise discovery, literature searches, and profiling to build candidate pools.
• Conduct targeted searches across publications, institutions, and conferences.
• Review credentials and backgrounds to identify qualified candidates.
• Outreach to prospective reviewers, explain opportunities, timelines, and expectations.
• Maintain reviewer pipelines across biomedical disciplines and specialties.
• Coordinate with SROs/SRMs to understand expertise requirements.
• Provide candidate information to leadership to support reviewer evaluation.
