Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead safe, reliable and compliant pupil transportation across its network of schools. The role reports to the National Transportation Director and oversees Transportation Leads, Coordinators, bus operators and contracted services.

Qualified candidates will have a degree in management, logistics, or supply chain, or 10+ years of related experience, plus hands-on leadership, vendor management and knowledge of DOT/FMCSA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of progressive transportation/logistics management experience
• Experience managing a team of drivers with CDL where applicable
• Proficiency with MS Office, routing tech, ERP systems and PM platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead pupil transportation operations across CSUSA network
• Ensure safety, compliance and efficiency in transportation services
• Develop stakeholder relationships and communicate proactively
• Monitor vendor performance and optimize processes
