Cartwheel is looking for an Independent Contractor to provide mental health care to children and school staff remotely across the US. Ideal candidates will have a passion for improving mental health in school settings and hold an active Virginia license.

Responsibilities include assessments, teletherapy, and collaborating with school communities. The position offers competitive pay ($60–75/hour) and a quarterly Mission Bonus for those serving higher‑need populations.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience delivering mental health services to children and youth via telehealth.
• Fluency in other languages is a plus.
• Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health care to PreK-12 students and school staff.
• Support students transitioning to community care providers.
• Build relationships with school staff to improve mental health services.
