Cartwheel is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join Alaska's rural schools as a founding member of our clinical team. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role offering 8-20 hours per week, remote within the United States, with Alaska residency strongly preferred.

You will provide teletherapy and assessments to K-12 students, collaborate with school staff, families, and Cartwheel clinicians, and help build a new care model for Alaska’s students.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Family and Child Counseling.
• Active license in Alaska to deliver mental health care (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LMFT).
• Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and/or motivational interviewing.
• Experience delivering care via telehealth.
• Strong technological skills and experience with Google tools, EHRs, and collaboration platforms.
• Reliable high-speed internet (50 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up).
• Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to offer hours during and after school (e.g., 3-8 pm Eastern Time).

Responsabilités

• Provide mental health assessments and teletherapy to K-12 students and school staff in partner districts.
• Participate in case discussions with Cartwheel team members.
• Support students and families with transition to community care providers.
• Build collaborative, trusted relationships with school leadership, staff, students and families; meet and communicate regularly with school staff.
