Job summary

Air Reading is seeking a School Implementation Specialist to own a portfolio of partner schools and ensure successful launches and ongoing progress. You will be the primary contact for principals and coordinators, monitor attendance and engagement, and resolve issues quickly and warmly.

The role demands 3+ years in K-6 environments, literacy-focused experience, and strong communication. Remote work with some travel may be required, and you will contribute to process improvements and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working in or with K-6 schools.
• K-12 experience as a teacher or administrator, with emphasis on literacy.
• Experience with the Science of Reading.
• Empathetic, patient, and clear.
• Proficient with Google Workspace; able to learn internal tools quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own implementation for a portfolio of partner schools: rosters, schedules, start dates, diagnostic windows, and materials, ensuring timely launches.
• Serve as the primary contact for principals and school coordinators; lead regular check-in and data-review meetings.
• Monitor attendance and engagement; analyze trends with schools and address issues early.
• Resolve day-to-day issues (tech, scheduling, behavior) quickly and warmly.
• Escalate complex issues with proper documentation and follow-up.
• Contribute to the knowledge base by documenting common questions and confusions.
• Maintain accurate records in the school tracker and internal tools.
• Support overflow work and assist School Operations Lead and district leadership.
• Own school reporting, including weekly feedback reports and other requests.
• Develop proactive solutions and initiate process improvements.
