About Air Reading
Air Reading is transforming literacy instruction by delivering high-quality, personalized reading support to students. Our proprietary platform connects schools with experienced tutors (teachers) to provide effective and scalable interventions.
We are seeking a School Implementation Specialist to own a portfolio of partner schools — getting each one launched, keeping it running smoothly, and making sure every student shows up and makes progress.
Who You Are: You put students first. You are a former teacher or school leader who knows how a building runs and can earn a principal’s trust fast. You are hardworking, hold a high bar for your own work, keep improving, and stay humble. You catch problems before they become problems, and when something goes wrong you own it and fix it. You can look at student data with a principal and talk about what it means for kids.
What You Will Do:
- Own implementation for a portfolio of partner schools: rosters, schedules, start dates, diagnostic windows, and materials, so every school launches on time with nothing dropped.
- Be the primary contact for your principals and school coordinators; run regular check-in and data-review meetings.
- Monitor attendance and engagement; follow up on trends with the school before they become a problem.
- Resolve day-to-day issues (tech, scheduling, student behavior reported by tutors) quickly and warmly.
- Escalate complex issues as needed, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Contribute to our internal knowledge base by identifying common questions or areas of confusion.
- Maintain accurate and organized records in our school tracker and internal tools.
- Assist with overflow work and participate in special projects as needed, including supporting the School Operations Lead and district leadership.
- Own school reporting, including weekly feedback reports and other reports as requested.
- Proactively develop solutions, suggest, and initiate process improvements.
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years working in or with K-6 schools.

- Empathetic, patient, and clear.
- Comfortable with Google Workspace and spreadsheets; quick to learn internal tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and strong listening skills.
- Experience de-escalating hard conversations with principals, teachers, or families.
- Excellent organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Experience in and ability to thrive in a fast-paced or startup environment are a must-have.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to work with others in a team environment to develop ideal solutions that ensure the growth and success of our department and organization.
- A passion for problem‑solving and quality standards.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
What You Will Need:
- The ability to work between the hours of 8 a.m.–5 p.m. CST
- The ability to travel up to 20% to PST or CST locations.
