Stride K12 Private Academy seeks a School Counselor for a full-time, virtual role open to residents nationwide. The role supports postsecondary planning, college readiness, and 4-year graduation planning, in collaboration with families and teachers.

You will provide short-term counseling, referrals, and data-driven interventions while navigating state and federal laws, with occasional travel for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree AND licensure preferred for School Counselor role.
• Master's degree in school counseling preferred.
• Experience with distance learning and counseling services.

Responsibilities

• Plan for postsecondary options and college readiness with students.
• Review transcripts and develop a four-year graduation plan.
• Provide short-term counseling and referrals for longer-term support.
• Collaborate with teachers to support student success and scheduling.
• Travel up to 20% for professional development and meetings.
