Job summary

Stride, Inc. is hiring a School Counselor for the K12 Private Academy. This virtual role supports students’ academic success, social-emotional development, and college/career readiness across the 50 states and DC.

You will collaborate with teachers, review transcripts, and help students plan for graduation and postsecondary options while maintaining a professional home office setup, typically 9–5 or as defined.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three (3) years of counseling/advisement experience.
• School Counselor License preferred.
• Ability to clear required background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive services and implement a comprehensive school counseling program.
• Assist students with postsecondary planning and college/career readiness.
• Review transcripts and collaborate with staff on graduation plans and course placement.
• Travel up to 20% for professional development and student assessment as needed.
