Job summary

Tandem Care is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to keep our Targeted Care and On Demand services running smoothly from a remote position. This role involves solving scheduling puzzles, coordinating same-day care requests, and covering caregiver call-outs while supporting the broader operations team.

You'll work with Care Coordinators and Operations to ensure seamless service, manage communications with caregivers and clients, and keep accurate CRM documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in home care scheduling or similar fast-paced ops
• Strong customer service and phone communication skills
• Experience with CRM and scheduling software
• Remote work experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and adjust caregiver schedules throughout the day
• Process same-day schedule changes and new care requests
• Respond to caregiver and client phone calls, texts, and Teams messages
• Manage caregiver call-outs and secure replacement coverage
• Monitor caregiver arrivals and visit check-ins
• Support Targeted Care and On Demand operations in afternoons and evenings
• Serve as backup for Scheduling Manager during PTO and days off
• Update payroll time records based on verified visit information
• Maintain accurate documentation in our CRM
• Collaborate with Care Coordinators and Operations to ensure seamless service
