Job summary

Texas Physical Therapy Specialists is seeking a Full Time Patient Scheduling Coordinator to be the first point of contact for new patients. You will schedule appointments, ensure accuracy, and support clinics across the TexPTS network.

Training occurs onsite in Live Oak, TX with a transition to remote work while staying part of a collaborative team. Local San Antonio residents are preferred for training.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of medical office, scheduling, or medical call center experience.
• Excellent phone communication skills.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Must live near Live Oak/San Antonio, TX for training and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage new patient scheduling for assigned clinics.
• Answer calls and resolve patient questions.
• Create and update patient accounts including demographics and insurance.
• Schedule new patient evaluations according to guidelines.
• Verify insurance coverage and authorizations.
• Coordinate with clinic teams and refer providers.
• Document calls and interactions accurately.
• Meet KPIs and audit expectations.
• Participate in team meetings and training.
