Job summary

Texas Physical Therapy Specialists, a member of Confluent Health, is seeking a full-time Patient Scheduling Coordinator to be the first point of contact for new patients. You will coordinate new patient appointments, deliver exceptional service, and collaborate with clinics, physician offices, and insurance partners to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling.

Qualifications

• 1+ year medical office or scheduling experience.
• Excellent phone communication.
• Ability to handle multiple calls accurately.

Responsibilities

• Manage new patient scheduling for assigned clinics.
• Answer calls and resolve patient questions and concerns.
• Create and update patient accounts with demographics and insurance details.
• Schedule new patient evaluations per guidelines and provider availability.
• Verify insurance coverage and coordinate authorizations and referrals.
• Upload prescriptions/referrals into EMR systems.
• Coordinate with clinic teams and notify providers of outcomes.
• Document calls and follow-ups accurately.
• Use Voxology, Limber, and WebPT to support scheduling.
• Meet KPIs and participate in team meetings.
