Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Scheduling and Authorization Coordinator for a remote position. The role involves coordinating imaging scheduling, obtaining authorizations, and communicating with patients, physicians, and hospital staff to ensure smooth procedures.

The candidate will verify insurance, enter data into systems, and manage calls and emails in a fast-paced environment while upholding HIPAA requirements and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare billing preferred.
• Strong literacy, grammar, spelling, and math skills.
• Office or hospital environment experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume call centers is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of imaging and procedures with patients and hospitals.
• Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations and referrals as needed.
• Enter insurance details accurately into systems and monitor payor eligibility.
• Communicate schedule details and exam preparation to patients and physicians.
• Maintain notes in hospital/ ElevatePFS systems and manage logs.
• Handle emails and faxes; respond to messages promptly.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team to ensure smooth operations.
