Job summary

Plains All American seeks a Pipeline Controller in Midland, Texas, to operate pipelines remotely from our control center, monitor pressures, flow, temperatures and tank levels, and respond to alarm conditions as they arise.You will coordinate with field and other control centers, complete daily paperwork, attend training, and participate in emergency response. The 12‑hour rotating shift is a 24/7 operation; local candidates are preferred and Plains offers a top‑tier benefits program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in pipeline operations preferred.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Strong math skills and ability to learn DOT/Operator Qualification Training.

Responsibilities

• Control and Monitor Pipeline Operations – maintain pressures and flow, track batches, respond to alarms.
• Coordinate Operational Activities – work with field personnel, schedulers, and other control centers.
• Complete Required Daily Paperwork – log movements, prepare reports, and transmit to field locations.
• Complete Training – undergo computer-based and DOT Operator Qualification Training.
• Respond to Emergency Situations – perform safe shutdowns and participate in safety meetings.
