Job summary

Greif, Inc. is seeking an SBU Engineering Manager to lead the engineering organization across the assigned Strategic Business Unit. You will partner with SBU leadership to translate business strategy into engineering priorities, investments, and capabilities, while developing talent and cross-functional alignment.

You’ll balance business needs with engineering execution, drive safety and continuous improvement, and manage capital programs and budgets. Domestic travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 10+ years of engineering and project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineers or technical teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and capital programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures engineering execution across SBU delivers reliable equipment solutions.
• Maintains safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures quality, cost, and schedule adherence for projects.
• Leads major SBU, regional, and network engineering projects as assigned.
• Manages budget, capital deployment, and forecasting with Finance.
