Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking an SBA Manager Sales Support for a remote role that may be hired in North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, Texas, or Utah. You will lead a team of Sales Support Specialists, drive SBA program knowledge, and support lenders and clients with underwriting and documentation.

The role emphasizes coaching, process improvement, and ensuring high-quality service across the team while achieving departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in Bank Lending or Underwriting, Operations or Sales
• Experience in SBA or lending processes preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Sales Support Specialists while managing performance and priorities
• Support SBA Lenders, Referral Partners, and clients by resolving inquiries and escalations
• Review financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess SBA eligibility and lending risk
• Prepare and review loan documentation including term sheets and SBA forms
• Serve as a subject matter expert on SBA programs and bank systems
