Job summary

First Citizens Bank seeks an SBA Manager Sales Support to lead a team of Sales Support Specialists, assess SBA eligibility, review financials, and prepare loan documents in a remote role that may hire in North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, Texas, or Utah.

You will coach and train staff, manage a robust loan pipeline, oversee workflow and quality control, and partner with leadership to meet departmental goals and deliver superior customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in Bank Lending or Underwriting, or a High School Diploma with 8 years' experience.
• BSA SOPs knowledge and loan structure knowledge is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, OneNote, Outlook) and banking systems.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Sales Support Specialists; manage performance and workflow priorities.
• Identify process improvements with leadership to reach goals.
• Support SBA Lenders, referral partners, and clients with inquiries and escalations.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess eligibility and risk.
• Prepare and review loan documentation to SBA and bank requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on SBA programs and loan processes.
