Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Loan Review Advisor to support the SBA Office of Credit Risk Management by performing detailed reviews of 7(a) and 504 loan files, across origination, servicing, liquidation, and targeted review scopes, to assess compliance with SBA program requirements.

The role requires 4+ years of SBA loan experience, strong analytical and written-report skills, and the ability to communicate with SBA personnel and lenders. Remote work is available; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SBA 7(a) or 504 loan experience
• Experience reviewing loan files for compliance and risk
• Knowledge of SBA Loan Program Requirements (13 CFR Parts 103 & 120) and SOPs
• Strong analytical, documentation, and written-report skills
• Ability to communicate with SBA personnel and lenders

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reviews of SBA loan files (7(a) and 504) for compliance
• Document findings in work papers and loan file review reports
• Analyze data from SBA systems and lender documents
• Communicate review results and deficiencies to SBA and lenders
