Job summary

Somewhere is seeking a Sales Lead Generation Specialist/BDR to originate SBA loan opportunities and build a robust referral network. You will manage the full cycle from initial contact to closing, targeting $250k–$5M deals in a remote setting.

You will work with a producer mindset, sourcing opportunities, qualifying them, and coordinating submissions to preferred lenders. Earnings are uncapped with commissions on consulting agreements sold.

Qualifications

• Originating SBA 7(a) and/or 504 loans at a lender, CDC, or brokerage.
• Demonstrated production history; be prepared to discuss annual funded volume and deal count.
• Knowledge of SOP 50 10 8 and the 50 10 8.1 changes (Oct 1, 2026).
• SBA eligibility, structure, and credit fundamentals: equity injection rules, seller notes, guaranties, collateral.
• Ability to have substantive structuring conversations with business owners without a credit officer.
• Active referral network and ability to bring relationships to the role.
• Experience with partial buyouts and 80/20 ownership structures.
• Existing relationships with national SBA lenders and SBA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Source SBA 7(a) and 504 loan opportunities in the $250k–$5,000k range with focus on acquisitions.
• Build and maintain a referral network across brokers, CPAs, wealth managers, attorneys, and small-business owners.
• Qualify opportunities: viability, borrower credit, equity sources, DSCR, eligibility.
• Match transactions to lenders within Everbridge's network based on appetite and speed.
• Prepare and coordinate complete submission packages; manage borrower and lender relationships through underwriting to closing.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data in HubSpot; execute SBA Form 159 for applicable transactions.
• Represent Everbridge at events and referral-source functions.
