Job summary

Banesco USA is seeking an SBA Business Development Officer for our SBA Sales unit. The role focuses on originating SBA 7(a) and USDA B&I loans, building a robust referral network, and guiding borrowers through credit considerations and closing.

Ideally you have 3–5 years of SBA/USDA loan origination experience, a related bachelor's degree, and knowledge of SBA SOPs and USDA guidelines. Hybrid work model with remote and on-site options.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct SBA/USDA loan origination experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
• Knowledge of SBA 7(a) SOPs and USDA B&I program guidelines.
• Ability to analyze business financial statements, personal tax returns, and cash flow projections.

Responsibilities

• Source and originate SBA 7(a) and USDA B&I loans.
• Build and maintain a robust referral network.
• Perform preliminary credit analysis to ensure loan requests meet internal policy and agency guidelines.
• Structure complex deals involving real estate acquisitions, equipment financing, debt refinancing, and partner buyouts.
• Manage the loan process from intake to commitment letter with underwriters and closers.
• Act as a brand ambassador, attending industry events and maintaining a presence in the local business community.
