Job summary

The Agency is seeking an experienced SBA Loan Closer to join its Franchise and Restaurant lending team. This remote-friendly role focuses on SBA 7(a) closings, with flexibility for onsite or hybrid arrangements in the Dallas or Chicago markets as needed.

Responsibilities include managing closings, documenting SBA compliance, coordinating with borrowers and attorneys, and maintaining current SBA knowledge. Competitive salary with ESOP and possible bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SBA lending experience, SBA 7(a) knowledge preferred.
• Experience managing SBA loan closings from docs to funding.
• Strong SBA documentation, compliance, and regulatory understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate SBA loan closings with emphasis on SBA 7(a).
• Review loan docs for accuracy and SBA compliance.
• Collaborate with internal lending, underwriting, and franchise teams.
• Ensure files meet SBA guidelines and internal credit policies.
• Resolve closing documentation discrepancies and issues.
• Coordinate with borrowers, attorneys, lenders and third parties.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of SBA programs and policies.
• Handle multiple transactions with organization and clear communication.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Support growth of franchise and restaurant lending platform.
