Job summary

WBD in Minnesota seeks a dedicated Loan Officer to drive SBA 504 loan production by building strategic relationships with banks, credit unions, and local lenders.

You will manage the lending process from prospecting to closing, coordinating internal teams and guiding borrowers and referral partners across the state.

This remote role offers the chance to serve businesses statewide from a Minnesota base and to grow WBD’s presence while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field is required.
• Minimum two years of commercial lending, business banking, relationship management, or related financial services experience.
• SBA lending experience preferred.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• Credit analysis or underwriting experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Drive SBA 504 loan production through strategic lender relationships.
• Coordinate internal teams to guide transactions from prospecting to closing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks, credit unions, economic development organizations, business owners, and referral partners.
• Act as trusted advisor and SBA expert to borrowers and lenders.
