Job summary

WBD is expanding its Minnesota Loan Officer team to drive SBA 504 loan production by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with banks, credit unions, economic development organizations, and business owners across Minnesota. You will guide transactions from prospecting to closing and serve as the primary contact throughout the lending process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field.
• Minimum two years of commercial lending, business banking, relationship management, or related financial services experience.
• SBA lending experience preferred.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• Credit analysis or underwriting experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with commercial lenders, credit unions, economic development organizations, attorneys, CPAs, and business owners.
• Serve as SBA financing resources within their markets.
• Collaborate closely with underwriting, closing, servicing, and management teams.
• Proactively develop business opportunities and expand market presence.
• Deliver a consistent, high‑quality customer experience.
• Educate lenders and business owners through presentations, meetings, and training opportunities.
