Job summary

Pharmatek Consulting Inc. is seeking a skilled SAS Analytics Administrator for a remote, six-month contract. The role focuses on SAS Office Analytics in an AWS environment and requires coordinating with data scientists and biostatisticians.

You will manage AWS accounts, IAM, EC2/S3, monitor resources, and ensure CFR Part 11 compliance within GMP-aligned R&D operations, with strong communication and project management across IT and biopharma teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years implementing and supporting Clinical Trials/R&D applications in biotechnology or life sciences.
• Strong working knowledge of CFR Part 11 compliance and GxP systems.
• Experience leveraging R and Python in AWS HPC environments.

Responsibilities

• SAS Analytics Administration in an AWS environment.
• Liaise with data scientists, biostatisticians and other stakeholders to understand business needs and plan technology.
• Partner with R&D IT and HPC teams to deliver unified services to clients.
• Manage AWS accounts, IAM, and configure billing and access controls.
• Deploy and manage AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, load balancers) and monitor performance.
• Implement monitoring and logging, optimize resource usage and control costs.
