Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned SAP Finanz/Finance Systems professional to oversee SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments across global locations. This full-time role partners with Finance units, IT, and business teams to maintain accurate financial systems and controls.

You will drive complex SAP projects, ensure SOX compliance, and deliver high-quality financial reporting. The position supports product costing, inventory valuation, intercompany processes, and integration with OTC and PTP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in financial systems or SAP finance roles preferred.
• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO and finance functional processes.
• Strong understanding of finance process integration with OTC, PTP (preferred).
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a high-performing team with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily operations and stability of SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC).
• Manage and deliver complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with Finance, operational teams, master data teams, and IT across global locations.
• Identify milestones, gather requirements, review specs, assess design, ensure SAP integration.
• Validate SAP FICO configurations across GL, AR/AP, cash/bank, master data, costing, inventory valuation, intercompany, OTC, PTP, Vistex.
• Design, develop and execute testing strategies; support deployment and cutover activities.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions, design reviews, and workshops.
• Rationalize SAP design decisions to address Finance needs and simplification opportunities.
• Create, troubleshoot, and optimize financial reports to meet business requirements.
• Leverage automation to improve financial processes.
• Oversee month-end activities and SOX controls testing.
