Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Financial Operating Systems (FOS) professional to oversee SAP environments (S/4HANA and ECC) and drive financial system initiatives nationwide. The role emphasizes SOX controls, cross-functional collaboration with Finance and IT, and managing complex projects in a dynamic global setting.

Applicants should have a strong SAP FI/CO background, experience with OTC and PTP integrations, and a solid accounting foundation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in financial systems or SAP finance roles preferred.
• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO and finance functional processes.
• Strong understanding of finance process integration with OTC, PTP (preferred).
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and stability of SAP environments (S/4HANA and ECC).
• Manage and deliver complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and business teams across locations.
• Identify milestones, gather requirements, review specs, and ensure SAP integration across modules.
• Validate SAP FICO configurations and ensure general ledger and AR/AP coverage.
• Design, develop and execute testing strategies; support deployment and training.
