Job summary

Vanguard-Claims-Administration is seeking a Salvage and Title Associate to coordinate the selling and titling of client salvage. You will move salvaged vehicles to low-cost locations, list them for auction, and manage bid results and title transfers with clients and leasing companies.

Ideal candidates have insurance claim experience, automotive knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The role involves SOC 2 compliance and interaction with the Claims Department, with HQ remotely based

Qualifications

• Two years of insurance industry claim handling experience required.
• Two years of auto insurance claim work experience preferred.
• Experience with vehicle history searches, titles and liens preferred.
• Good automotive knowledge and understanding of salvage process.
• Proficiency with technology, primarily Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the selling and titling of client salvage and movement to locations with low/zero storage fees.
• Lists client vehicles for auction on the salvage website and sets minimum bids/reserves.
• Inform clients and buyers of bid results and coordinate final payment and title transfer.
• Follow up with clients/leasing companies for status of title work.
• Review title paperwork for accuracy and ensure proper branding of titles.
• Assist Claims Department with title questions and paperwork on 3rd party claims.
• Research new buyers to add to the network via referrals and online sources.
• Adhere to SOC 2 security and data handling requirements; report incidents as needed.
• Support audit readiness with documentation of compliance activities.
• Perform additional responsibilities to support business operations.
