Job summary

McBride is seeking a QA Tester to support the NYS Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance Call Center Salesforce instance. You will ensure high-quality releases by validating call center workflows, case management features, and system integrations in a remote setting.

Responsibilities include creating SIT/E2E test scenarios, executing scripts, logging results, and coordinating with developers to retest defects before deployments. Experience with Salesforce and Copado is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of dedicated QA/testing experience on IT consulting projects.
• Direct experience testing Salesforce applications.
• Familiarity with Service Cloud concepts (case management, telephony integration, agent UI).
• Hands-on experience using Copado to track, document, and execute test artifacts within the Salesforce deployment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed SIT scenarios, test conditions, and execution scripts aligned with user stories and call center requirements.
• Co-create comprehensive end-to-end test scenarios with functional leads and business analysts.
• Execute test scripts covering Salesforce functional, integration, and UI steps.
• Manage and log all test cases, execution results, and defect tracking within Copado.
• Document and re-test defect fixes with the development team prior to release deployments.
• Provide clear test execution summaries and coverage metrics for deployment readiness.
