Job summary

McBride is seeking a QA tester to support the NYS DOL Unemployment Insurance Call Center Salesforce instance. The role is remote, focusing on ensuring high-quality releases by validating call center workflows, case management features, and system integrations without disrupting live operations.

Day-to-day tasks include developing SIT scenarios, co-creating E2E test cases, and executing Salesforce tests. Proficiency with Copado for test artifact tracking and defect retesting is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of dedicated QA/testing experience on IT consulting projects.
• Direct experience testing Salesforce applications.
• Proven track record of creating, managing, and executing SIT and E2E testing scenarios.
• Hands-on experience using Copado to track, document, and execute test artifacts embedded within the Salesforce deployment lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Service Cloud concepts (Case management, call center/telephony integration, agent UI) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed SIT scenarios, test conditions, and execution scripts aligned with user stories and call center requirements.
• Co-create comprehensive E2E test scenarios in collaboration with functional leads and business analysts.
• Execute test scripts covering Salesforce functional, integration, and user-interface steps.
• Manage and log all test cases, execution results, and defect tracking directly within Copado.
• Document and re-test defect fixes in close coordination with the development team prior to release deployments.
• Provide clear test execution summary results and coverage metrics to support deployment readiness.
