Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
• Strong experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder, Data Extensions, SQL.
• Proficiency with AMPscript and/or SSJS, plus HTML/CSS for dynamic content.
• Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with offshore vendor teams and internal groups.
• Strong troubleshooting and production-support mindset.
• Experience with FSC or related Salesforce CRM platforms.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect, APIs, CloudPages, and data integrations.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications (Marketing Cloud Developer, Email Specialist, or Consultant).

A large financial services company is seeking a strong Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join the Operational Excellence Technology organization. This team owns the platforms and systems that deliver capabilities to marketing business partners.The role is embedded in a collaborative, innovative, and technically challenging environment. You will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, with an emphasis on resilient, production-ready work. The team is looking for someone who can contribute immediately to hyper care (post-go-live support and stabilization) and upcoming Financial Services Cloud (FSC) initiatives, while also bringing curiosity and skill in emerging AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions and artifacts.
• Build and support customer journeys, automations, data models, and integrations.
• Partner with marketing stakeholders and internal technology teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Provide hands-on support during hyper care periods and contribute to platform stability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore partners.
• Stay current with Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and related AI features, and help the team adopt resilient, modern approaches.

Pay Rate: $50-55/hr

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
• Strong practical experience with core Marketing Cloud capabilities (e.g., Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder, Data Extensions, SQL).
• Proficiency with AMPscript and/or SSJS, plus HTML/CSS for dynamic content and templates.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or SAFe methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple technology partners, including offshore vendor teams and internal groups.
• Strong troubleshooting and production-support mindset, with experience supporting solutions after go-live.
• Experience with Salesforce Agentforce (significant plus) and/or other Salesforce AI capabilities.
• Prompt engineering experience (highly desirable).
• Experience supporting or integrating with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) or related Salesforce CRM platforms.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect, APIs (REST/SOAP), CloudPages, or data integrations.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, or Marketing Cloud Consultant).
