Job summary

The Opus Group is hiring a Business Applications Engineer to strengthen our Salesforce-centric enterprise applications portfolio. This remote role partners with internal teams and external delivery partners to drive scalable, well-governed solutions that align with business priorities and platform standards.

We value proactive risk identification, strong communication, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks across Sales, Service, and Professional Services Clouds.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years hands-on Salesforce experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience configuring declarative automation, data modeling, security controls, and managed packages.
• Understanding Salesforce tech landscape (Apex, Lightning Web Components).
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating to delivery tasks.
• Experience working with external vendors or implementation partners.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Professional Services Clouds.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and translate into actionable delivery tasks.
• Coordinate with external partners to align approach with governance guardrails.
• Support data mapping and solution alignment across middleware and other platforms that interact with Salesforce.
• Identify risks and dependencies early, with clear recommendations.
• Apply standards related to architecture, security, integrations, and release readiness.
• Participate in working sessions representing the Business Applications team.
• Support testing, deployment, issue triage, and post-launch stabilization.
• Create and maintain documentation and runbooks.
• Contribute to Run the Business activities as needed.
