First American is launching a Sales Trainee role in Michigan designed to develop individuals into Sales Representatives. You will gain industry and product knowledge while mastering sales skills and building long-term relationships with clients across the territory.

The training emphasizes interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and travel within Michigan. After training, you may be responsible for sales performance and margin in a defined territory while supporting a dynamic sales team.

Responsibilities

• Learn and master the sales process and understand the products and services offered.
• Learn sales administration by participating in sales office functions
• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients
• Conduct market research and develop sales strategies; gather and analyze information to build knowledge base and identify trends for assigned territory/product
• Observe the sales process by calling on accounts; adhere to established sales steps
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational improvement opportunities; read sales and marketing publications
• Prepare and deliver product presentations
• Other duties as assigned
