Johns Manville is seeking a Sales Representative for the Upstate New York region, including Buffalo, to sell commercial roofing products and systems. This remote role requires driving to customer sites, building strong relationships with contractors, specifiers, and building owners, and delivering effective bids and service.

You will work independently with support from the team, manage travel up to 25%, and contribute to territory growth with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years customer-facing experience.
• Experience building rapport and developing strong customer relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive for extended periods of time; willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilités

• Sell commercial roofing products and systems to generate new business in the territory.
• Call on roofing contractors, specifiers, distributors, and building owners.
• Develop and deliver bids; negotiate contracts and drive product sales within price strategies.
• Provide technical assistance and respond to customer inquiries; manage satisfaction and resolve complaints.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy; conduct market research and forecast by product line and key customers.
