Job summary

SMS group Inc. is seeking a Manager EA Sales and Proposal Long Products to lead marketing and selling of Long Products Electrics & Automation in the Americas. You will coordinate with sales, engineering, and automation teams to prepare costed proposals and present SMS technology to customers.

The role includes managing reference selections, developing marketing strategies for the Americas, and supervising up to 3 sales and proposal engineers. Travel 25–40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; 5+ years in Industrial Automation (supplier or end user).
• Experience in Section/Rail Mills and/or Bar and Wire mills required.

Responsibilities

• Determine references for equipment and cost in conjunction with Sales Managers and departments.
• Manage proposal writing/editing; coordinate engineering work for proposals.
• Travel 25–40% for customer/supplier visits and internal meetings; present technical proposals.
