Job summary

SCS Consulting Services is seeking a Sales Manager for Sustainability, LCA, and Climate Solutions to grow and close high-value opportunities. You will lead discovery, scoping, proposals, and negotiations, coordinating with program leaders and consultants to deliver integrated sustainability services.

Remote, home-office based role, travel as needed. Requires 5+ years of B2B sales in consulting or sustainability, strong leadership, CRM experience, and domain knowledge in LCA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or similar field.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in consulting, technical services, or sustainability with a track record of closing complex deals.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a remote setting.
• Domain expertise in corporate sustainability services and regulations (GHG, CDP, SBTi, EcoVadis, CSRD, EPR).
• Working knowledge of LCA methods and standards (ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14025, ISO 14067).
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce; strong leadership, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements from opportunity identification through contract execution and client project kickoff.
• Negotiate prices and terms, and coordinate with account management to ensure delivery.
• Develop proposals, budgets, and professional service agreements using standard templates.
• Manage weekly pipeline, monthly sales reports, and perform CRM data governance in Salesforce.
