Job summary

PatientPoint is offering an Outside Sales Internship that provides hands-on experience across sales methodologies, customer interaction, market research, and business development. The role includes classroom training in Cincinnati and/or NYC with field travel, and mentorship from experienced sales professionals.

This 8-week internship allows flexible hours to fit academic schedules and may lead to future full-time opportunities based on performance. Base pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales Team: Assist the sales team in day-to-day activities such as prospecting, lead generation, and client communication.
• Market Research: Conduct research on potential clients, industry trends, and competitors to identify opportunities for business growth.
• CRM Management: Utilize our CRM system to update client information, track sales activities, and generate reports for analysis.
• Sales Collateral Development: Assist in the creation of sales presentations, proposals, and other collateral materials to support the sales process.
• Customer Communication: Communicate with existing and potential customers in person, via email, phone, and other channels to gather information, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in Sales Meetings: Attend sales meetings and training sessions to learn about sales strategies, product knowledge, and best practices.
• Shadow Sales Representatives and Account Managers: Accompany sales representatives and account managers both remotely and in person for presentations, and negotiations to observe sales techniques and strategies in action.
• Capstone Project: Summarize your time as a PatientPoint intern and present to sales leadership on key learnings and experiences.
