Job summary

Transporeon, a Trimble Company, seeks a Manager/Director of Sales Engineering to lead a regional team and shape the technical revenue strategy across North America. You will guide presentation technology stacks, coordinate with Product and Engineering, and drive strategic enterprise deals.

This role combines leadership, industry knowledge in logistics, and a passion for transforming digital freight ecosystems, offering remote work within the US and substantial travel.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience managing a Sales Engineering team, ideally within software or SaaS environments.
• Deep domain knowledge of logistics operations and road transportation systems.
• Proven expertise in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) or Real-Time Visibility platforms.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving annual ARR targets, meeting OKR milestones.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in software sales engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a center of excellence for sales engineers focused on Transporeon solutions, driving operational alignment and OKR achievement.
• Coach, resource, and develop sales engineering teams through tailored development plans and structured performance management.
• Actively engage in high-leverage sales cycles, industry events, and strategic customer projects to present complex software value propositions.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Professional Services, and Product teams to align field insights with upcoming product strategies.
• Oversee the deployment and continuous improvement of sales engineering presentation technology stacks and demonstration workflows.
