Job summary

Mobile Medical International is seeking a Project Design Manager (Sales Engineer) to bridge customer requirements with technically feasible mobile and water system solutions. You will partner with the Commercial Sales team, use AutoCAD LT for layouts, and validate configurations within Salesforce to support accurate forecasting and seamless handoffs.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 3+ years in Sales Engineering, Medical Equipment Planning, or Technical Sales.
• Ability to read architectural blueprints, P&IDs, and electrical/logic schematics.
• Familiarity with NEC, plumbing, fire codes; hospital utility systems experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical control mechanisms and digital monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Proactively drive technical sales proposals by defining scope, inputs, and configurations.
• Collaborate with Sales to maintain Salesforce opportunity data and resolve gaps in technical configurations.
• Create preliminary 2D site layouts and room plans using AutoCAD LT for customer approval.
• Own the technical handoff of won projects to Project Management, Engineering, and Service teams.
• Serve as SME during customer presentations, addressing engineering questions and validating infrastructure requirements.
• Independently verify proposed solutions against healthcare standards (AAMI, FGI, ASHRAE) and facility constraints.
