Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a Civil Design Sales Engineer to expand OpenRoads Designer adoption in the US market from a home-based position. You will design and deliver campaigns, conduct product demonstrations, and manage a CRM-driven pipeline across roadway and transportation infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Civil/Transportation Engineering background, 4+ years in engineering software sales, strong English communication, and the ability to travel up to 15% while working remotely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
• 4+ years in transportation engineering or software sales.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer and related roadway design tools.
• Experience with roadway design, alignments, corridors, and terrain modeling.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Ability to translate client needs into software solutions.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Sell Bentley transportation design solutions including OpenRoads Designer.
• Design and deliver sales campaigns and live sessions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Engage prospects via LinkedIn and other social platforms.
• Understand client needs and provide tailored software solutions.
• Develop a sales pipeline and forecast revenue in CRM daily.
• Collaborate with product and marketing for feedback and features.
• Maintain knowledge of commercial offerings and support policies.
• Attend industry events to generate leads and brand awareness.
• Meet and exceed sales targets; travel up to 15%.
